I'm going to make this short. Thanksgiving my family and I went to Chicago to see my brother Clark in his show, Footloose. Overall, it was the most fun thanksgiving break i've ever had. Only 2 of my brothers weren't there. It was so cold and such a blast. I loved the show, and met a lot of really cool talented people.

It's Christmas Eve now, and doesn't feel like it at all. It's like..80 degrees or something crazy like that. I watched 3 of my brothers play football at Klein with some of their old school friends. Then Clay, Spencer, Travis and I went to kroger and went skateboarding. Personally, i've never been on a skateboard, so i sucked a lot. It was way fun though, i would really like to get a skateboard and practice. We brought the camera, so all in all, we got some magical moments on camera. Last night the brothers and I and some of their friends went to Theiss and played Blind Man's Bluff for about 2 hrs. It was a blast. I was the only girl, but oh well. I'm use to it. lol. It was soo fun, there were some pretty nasty spills from everybody. Blind Man's Bluff is where the person that is it has to close their eyes, and everybody cant touch the ground. So you have to stay away from the person it. It's a really fun and interactive game.

Well, that was me keeping it short. Everyone who comments on my xanga is in my house right now anyways...and they were all there. So...whatever. HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

HAHA, ok. I just read The Scarlet Letter for english...and that is one quote from the book that i had NO CLUE on earth what the meaning was. So, i wanted to share many laughs that i shared with friends on that quote.

Let's see...School sucks. I'm so ready for a break. I get more tired every morning for seminary. Oh yea, we got out "report card" for attendance in seminary... And i had By far the most tardies in my class. Total ended up to be...37. That has to be some sort record. They start perfectly on time instead of 6:15 like everyone else. So I come the same time everyday at 6:15, which to my teachers is a tardy. So i have an 89% attendance, and i haven't missed one day at all. All i did was be a few minutes late.. LAME! I've been pretty mad abt that. Oh well, partly my fault, bc i dont wake up until 10 min b4 i have to leave. Like this morning, for instance, I woke up at 5:50, rolled out of bed, didn't change my shirt, or pants. I put on some shoes and socks, put a sweatshirt over my t-shirt. Then went to school. I was very comfy, and noe one cares anyways.

On a happier note, i'm going to Chicago tomorrow after school. I'M SOO EXCITED! I need to get out of Tetfas, MUCHO. I'm going to see Harry Potter 4 tonight. And i need to pack, and finish all my homework, ect. This is going to sound so stupid, and i've prob said this abt a "brazillion" times, but...I WANT MY BRACES OFF SOO BAD! They are at the point where my teeth are straight, so they really embarass me. I hate them so much. I cant wait to smile and have my teeth be straight and white. It is soo important for me...I only have a few months left. That is good news, but still, hard. Hopefully for my trip to New York City during Spring Break, i'll have them off. OK, i'll stop complaining now.

The other day at church i was sitting in Young Woman's waiting for class to start. That day was also Fast Sunday, and i was sick to top it off. I turn around and look at my mom, i didn't say anything i just looked at her, emotionless and she said
"Karen, i know. You're hungry and you want your braces off."

I laughed so hard, she knows me so well. That was the weekend Breanna and Maren came over. Accually Maren and i have hung out the past 9 weeks. So she doesn't count. lol. JK Mrn... I LOVE YOU! We had a lot of fun. Also, on a really exciting note, I found a handful of old Guam friends from Myspace. I could wet myself on how excited i was. I also wrote a boy from my branch on Guam that i knew. He is on a mission now, so i wanted to tell him i was thinking of him and such. I was so young when we lived there, i wanted him to think of me as a person, and not a little girl. I'm waiting for his letter back, that will make my day for sure.

Ok, mine is getting pretty long. It must be a Johnsen thing, except mine def. isn't as interesting as the other members of the fam. SEE YOU SOON, Clarky and Clay. Also, i cant wait for Chricksmix! Clay, that movie idea sounds really good, you know i'd be all over that!

Another Homecoming has come and gone. I have gotten and lot of pictures. Homecoming dress up week was pretty fun too. Every morning i woke up too cold to accually put on something that went along with the schedule of dress code though. Monday was Camo, then Western, then Nerd Day, then Decade Day, then Spirit. I dressed up like Sarah Jessica Parker from Girls Just Want to have Fun. I have pictures.. I need to learn how to put them on here. CLAY... HELP!

Homecoming was fun also, I have been on the verge of being sick for days now, so i was really tired and not very fun to be arouond. So i kinda feel bad for my date. Becky was sooo sick. I'm surprised she made it the whole day. She didn't have an appetite, and she just looked miserable. I'm proud of her, she is such a trooper. Jocelyn did an amazing job again, of course. The dilema this time was that my hair wasn't doing anything Jocelyn styled it to do. It was FREAKING OUT! I dont know what was wrong with my hair that day, it seriouly had its own mind. Jocelyn stayed over for the weekend, because Jon was in Austin. So we got some bonding time. AKA- She hogged the bed.. but i stole the covers, so it's all good... lol.

On Halloween, I decided that i was going to have a party, bc everyone i talked to had no plans. So i was like.. Ok, i should have a party so all my friends can have something to do. It ended up to be a blast. My mom <<(lol) worked all day, getting decorations and making treats. Which were amazing.... Yumm. Also there was this HUGE storm on halloween. Poor kids, we barely got any trick or treaters. It added a nice touch to the night though. We played a whole bunch of games and just laughed and ate treats. Overall very fun. I have pictures from that also.

Maren and I were 80s work-out instructors. It looked funny. She looked better than me of course! lol. There was a good turn out too, which is always nice. Oh yea.. I watched Goonies for the first time. I LOVEDDD IT! I laughed soo hard at the part where Chunk is confessing to everything bad he's done, and also where he is trying to eat the ice cream, and they take it away, so he trys to put the spoon into his mouth quickly before they take that also, of couse they took it, and he starts crying. I laughed for so long.

Theresa rented this Tap DVD from the library, just for fun. She asked me if i wanted to do it with her, since i am prob the only person that would do it with her. It was SOOO funny.... It's called "Tapping With Ginger." Ginger, looks so funky, and she has such a heavy accent, so you can hardly understand her. The steps she was doing was really cool though. They were very old fashioned, but very flashy and fun. Theresa and I decided that i was going to make a tap movie, just like Tapping With Ginger. I'm thinking Clark and I should do it, it would be hilarious. I cant really explain to you what she looks like, or what her outfit was, but it was brilliant, and we laughed for such a long time.

Ok, i'm done typing.... This is way longer than i had intended. I accually came on here to study ACT, and look what has happened! DANG! "THE GOSH!"

I've had a really fun filled weekend.

Firday night Becky and I went to Peter Pan at the high school. We got frong row seats, which was ZING!! (-amazing) I love when you are close enough to see everyone's faces, and their expressions. After we the play, we went to AMC and saw Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. I liked it. It was very artistic, and entertaining. After we came home, ate dinner at around 11:30. Accually i think i just ate a granola bar. (Lately, i've been eating those a lot. I always have one in my purse) I love them. Saturday was Tomball's homecoming. That was a lot of fun. Jocelyn came over and she did my hair and make-up. She did good, i felt very pretty. Matt and i had a bunch of fun, we laughed and joked, and make fun of people who were bumbing and grinding. These one ppl were doing the same thing over and over... come on! At least do it good! I had a really weird dreams last night... abt freak dancing, i'm pretty good... lol. Enough said. WOW, that sounds really bad. Anyways, overall my weekend was great.

On sunday Becky, Desiree, and I sang in sacrament meeting. It was my first time to sing in public with a really small group, overall i thought we did really good. The spirit was really strong. There was one part where i had to come in by myself and i didn't feel nervous until then. OH well! Ok.. well i have 2 realyl funny things that have been said to me the past week... and they were those kind of moments where you say... Dang, that is going in my xanga....

Maren and I were watching Made on MTV (dont judge me) abt this fat guy, who wanted to be "fly with the ladies." So he goes to fat camp and what not and ends up with this girl friend. They are like making out... totally disgusting to watch, but i said
"MAREN! How come even he can find someone to kiss, why cant i find a love interest!"
maren: "Just go to fat camp...."

Lol, good times Mrn. Then today i was working on my english paper and i was looking in the thesauraus, and my dad walks up, sits down. After a while of sitting there looking at me he says...
"I love watching you read the dictionary!"

It was SOOO random, and so hilarious. We both laughed for a long time. Well Spencer just came over to visit. That is always fun. I love it when he comes to visit us/me. He is such an awesome guy.

I need to shower out all the hairspray from my hair. Night everyone.

Rita has come and gone, we are all fine. I went to Denton with Jocelyn, Jon, and Jon's brother James. It ended up to be a 12 hr drive going abt 200 miles... "WHICH IS RIDICULOUS!!" My sleep schedule got soo screwed up. I would go to bed at 4-5 am then wake up around 3 pm. In all i think i watched about 12 movies. I watched some good ones, "S.W.A.T" and "Coach Carter" were some good ones. I finished my book, and I started NIcholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens. Dude, that man is brilliant, his wording is so beautiful. I'm totally marking up the book, i highlight different lines that hit the spot. Oh yea, I got addicted to a game on msn.com called text twist, you guys should try it out.

I went so Chipotle one day, that is soo my favorite restaurant . I got addicted in New York City, I went with Clay, Clark and my mom. Good stuff. NYC was soo fun, that was a while ago...Thanks again brothers, i had an amazing time, and it was just what i needed at the time, it really meant a lot of me.

So i decided, when i'm older, i want to make a movie... a REAL one. I have this book, called "Ella Enchanted" and when i first read it, i was like...this would be an awesome movie. Then i looked online to see if they had a movie already. I found that they were in the making of it...So i wait all this time, and it ended up to be sooooo cheesy, I was soo t-o'd. You dont even know. So i'm determined to make it, how the author wrote it, and how i picture it. I dont want it to be some childish crap like it ended up to be in the version they made. So, that is my goal, I'm already brainstorming.

Well I'm training for Philmont, which is pretty much just running and working out, so if anyone has any helpful hints, it would be much appreciated. Also, i want really nice legs... haha sounds stupid, but i do. So if anyone has good workouts for calfs and thighs, i would love you forever.

Maren and I hung out on Tuesday, bc i got 4 school days off bc of the windy biotch Rita, thank you ma'am! Mrn and I had an awesome time.

YES! I'm updating... I have a reason to. Today is one of those days that something happens then you say... "That is going in my xanga!"

So before we get to that, everything is going really well. I'm pretty tired from cemetary and stuff. Last monday was Labor Day. Kris and Maren (aunt&cousin) invited me to go the Galveston beach with them. It was soo fun. It was a beautiful sunny day, aka- got a good tan. The beach we went to was really clean and nice. No dead jellyfish on the shore, no drift-wood and crap. Maren and I played some frisbee, jogged in the water and tried to catch fish with our bare hands... Oh the good times. Built a sand castle.. then destroyed it. All that jazz. There is just something abt the beach...the salt in the eyes or maybe it's not being able to run your fingers through your hair. Gotta love it.

Well It's monday.. a week from Labor Day and i got up got ready, the norm. Go to class.. so i get to 2nd period. Which is my Dance 4 class. We have a sub., which means free-day or studyhall day. We all know this, helloooo we're in dance 4! So Becky and I were just talking near some of the bars, i was playing with some tap steps and stuff. The sub walkes over and starts like doing kicks and stuff... it looked sooo funny. (she was kind of heavy-had her shirt tucked into her pants.. high pants/ kind of highwatering) just so you can kind of see the picture...I'm not really a person who makes fun of others, but in the case... I really cant help it. So Klein announcements are SO LONG. They really never end, it's a fact. So the sub keeps telling us to get ready for the pledge.. trying to make sure we stand up and stuff. She kept bringing it up, like we haven't done it everyday of our lives since kindergarden. One part of the announcements ended, and she was like.. Ok... everybody.. get ready, then it started up again, but it wasn't the pledge yet. Becky and I were watching her, and she was soo distressed! She was talking to herself.. or anybody who wanted to listen.. "Where is the pledge?!?! When is it?!" Becky and I were trying our best not to laugh. So.. finally the pledge comes, the class stands up of course. So As she is about to walk back to her desk.. She EXPLODED! She starts lecturing and yelling about how we should have respect for the flag, always stand up. "You guys are sitting here in an air conditioned building... AT LEAST YOU CAN HAVE RESPECT!" People are dying!...ect ect" She kept looking at Becky and I, i was like.. what the CRAP. Everytime she looked away, becky and i would start smiling, then she would look at us and we would put on our game face again. Finally she stopped... it was ridiculous. Totally un-necessary. I dont mean to disrespect the soldiers who are fighting and stuff, i stand for the pledge, and i care and and grateful for what they are doing... She made us sound like heartless-selfish biznatches. So when she was finished... Becky and I started laughing really really hard.. not loud though. I was laughing so hard i started crying, because when you try to contain a laugh, it gets really hard. I really cant explain to you how ridiculous and hilarious that was. So to top it all off, i was going to go to the restroom. The 10 min bell just rang, so i had pleanty time. When my real teacher is there, you dont even have to ask, you just go, plus it's about 5 ft away. So since it was a sub, i was going to be "RESPECTFUL" and ask. So i ask, and she gives me this dirty look. "The bell just rang, you can wait." I'm not one to be mean, so very politely i stated.."well that was the 10 min bell, so i have ten minutes." Gave me yet another dirty look. "You can just wait till the bell..." I think i just said please may i go to the restroom, again. She was like.. FINE, just hurry up! So i took like 1 min, i come back, she was like.. What is your name? I told her, but she prob wrote my name down or something. PSYCHO SUBS! I could care less, she was power hungry and I wasn't threatened by her dirty looks and sharp replys.

Well anyways, that was my adventure in 2nd period. I'm so glad Clark started updating his xanga.. now that is ... 4 Johnsens with xangas.. AHH! Well I'm off.. I've been napping a lot lately, and i'm really tired already and it's only 8:30. Love you gum drop raptor giggles! Misshhh you!

Well, if you haven't noticed the picture, it's new for xanga. I'm SOO young, i found this and died laughing. I completely remember doing this. Becky and I put our hair up, and got some feathers, and took diva shots. I'm thinking about putting up some really really old modeling shots i took when i was about 12. That would be kind of funny.

SCHOOL STARTED! I'm having SOO much fun! It's is a great year. I love all my classes, and all the ppl in my classes. Soo much fun. My new thing is to do karate down the halls. I do it, bc most of the time i'm freezing. So i need to do something to raise my body heat, and also, it looks really funny/ retarded. Tap is going great, i'm working on pull backs... they are hard! Also i started my voice lessons today. My teacher is really nice, sings well. I see good things happening.

Hmm.. what else has been happening. Oh, well my parents got home. OH YEA! There was a 4 stake dance of friday. That was a whole lot of fun. Met some ppl, sweat a lot. The normal. After the dance, taylor and stasi stayed the night. Lot of laughs and girly giggles. Man oh man! Stasi, she is hilarious, she was holding water then forgot abt it, and goes.. " WE SHOULD TAKE PICTURES!" *pretends to take pictures with a fake camera* she dropped her water.. all over everything... so great. We had a good time, slept in my parents bed.. bc it is big. On Sunday i went to becky's house for dinner, it was soo good, i ate sooo much. I still want more too.. and it was a week ago.

Well i'm soo tired, and i showered.. did i already say that? Well anyways.. Last monday i showered, and before that i hadn't showered since the previous wednesday... EWW! But.. i still looked clean and i smelt pretty! lol. NIGHT~!

Well, summer comes to its end.. SUCKS. I'm so upset. This summer was so amazing. It really was. I've really grown as a person... as cheesy as that sounds. I dont think anyone will notice. It's more on the inside. I know what i want in the future... and i'm determined to get it.

School starts on Tuesday, i'm excited to see all my friends and stuff. I've really missed them. On the other hand, i'd rather stay home, and read all the time. I've read a lot this summer, and let me tell you. I LOVE IT! I've gotten SOO close to Mrn. I talked to her on the phone, and that girl knows so much abt me. I can hardly stand being away from her. "You complete...me.." "You had me at hello!" Anyways, i always have some random quote, and i had the urge to type it. Becky and I haven't had the chance to hang out as much, which is really upsetting to me. I've really missed her.

Well I went on a date on Monday. We ate hamburgers at Travis' house, then went bowling. I totally sucked, but it was way fun. I love bumpers. Tuesday i started my new tap class. The new teacher.. IS ACCUALLY GOOD! She knows what she is talking abt. I've learned like 3 new steps. I love it. She is super nice and there is only one other person in the class as of now, so there is a lot of personal attention. Wednesday, at our church activity we finished our movie, it was really really funny. Thursday-- I PASSED DRIVERS ED! YESS! Then after I went on another date. Breanna's first date. That was a lot of fun too, (With Weston and David). We went to the mall and painted. I spend the rest of the week at the Stutz's house. I love them soo much. Their whole family rocks. It was soo nice of them to let me stay for 4 days...i dont have a family. My dad is in Utah, and my mom is in China. I'm all alone, well besides Theresa. She works all the time though.

WEll I'm pretty tired, and I kind of want to watch chitty chitty bang bang. BUT , i'll just sit here and listen to Weezer and be happy. I LOVE YOU LONG TIME!

HI TO ALL! Another day... of whatever. I dont even know what i'm trying to say.

Ok.. To recap this past week... Well My mom and Clark went to China on Wednesday. I didn't want Clark to leave, so Spencer, Clark and I went to ihop at 1 am so we could hang out longer. The waiter was really weird though. He was trying to talk to us a lot, and i think he was hitting on me. Even though he was married. He told us this joke... It was something like... "why did everyone like the mushroom?... because he was a fungi!" So, they Clark and Spenc kinda laughed, bc it was really lamecore. I just sat there, looked at Clark then said, i dont get it. He explained to me.. then i realized when he said mushroom, i heard marshmellow. I was soo confused! I bust out laughing, and told them what i thought. They found that amusing.

I'm trying to think of what else that has happened. Well i cleaned my room, i'm so pleased. I organized everything and dusted. I love it! I finished the 8th Work and Glory, i love them! What else. I play outside a lot, by myself. I jump on the trampoline or work out in the house. I run around, it's a great work out. It's too hot to run ouotside, so i have to do it inside. Well I'm tired of xanga for now. More later! BYE BYE!
